Conservation

Australian birds took me on a journey to show them their habitat and welcomed me into their world. I was fascinated and humbled to take these wonderful photos and at the same time was in a spot of bother knowing some of these birds will not be around in the years to come due to habitat loss, introduction of feral and introduced species. Thankfully there are many wonderful people and organisations doing many good deeds in conservation projects to safeguard the survival of some of the species. Below are few projects that I experienced first hand during my travels and financially contributed to help in some way. If you liked any of these pictures on this photos and looking for a worthy cause to contribute can I interest you in any of these projects.

Saving Golden Shouldered Parrot

Saving Orange Bellied Parrot

The Orange-bellied Parrot is a critically endangered bird species that migrates from mainland Australia to the wild and remote southwest Tasmania each summer.
