I almost felt like birds were calling me and asking me to join them in a journey to see them. In 2022, I have travelled to Taurus Strait islands, Iron range, Far north QLD, Mt Isa, Alice Springs, Coober Pedy, South Australian outback, Nullarbor plains, South west western Australian corner, Christmas and Cocos Islands, Tasmania, Ashmore reef, Broome, Subantarctic Macquarie Island, Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island, number of road trips through the country side and many pelagic trips in answering Bird calls. Undoubtably this was the best year of my life spending most trips on my own enjoying my own company discovering myself, learning life and figuring our my next phase of life. I met so many wonderful people who have helped me by sharing information, taking me to locations to show birds. I hope to share some of those stories while still fresh in my memory through a blog post or a book.
